If You Don’t ______________ You Will Pay!!
I don’t know how it all started in my brain but today I was musing over the fact that being a parent (or someone who’s responsible for children) has very specific consequences if you fail to do ALOT of certain things.
For example, if you don’t discipline (w/ love!) your child will become a spoiled brat. If you don’t bathe your children they will stink. If you don’t clip their nails they will scratch you…now I remember how this all started. If you don’t closely supervise little girls they might get dark pink blush all over your white carpet, even if you’re in the same room as them! – Believe it or not I used this one as a “testimony” in Home Council the other night…btw, the 2 ft. sq. stain came out, hence the “testimony”. Back to my ramblings; if you don’t put your baby down for a nap…need I say more? If your kid isn’t always warm enough (which is hard to know sometimes) they will, oh they will get a runny nose. I am currently accessorizing with a lovely soft white Kleenex.
Otay, I think I’ve made my point here and you can probably think of a bunch of other things as well. You know, it’s no wonder we’re trying to be super-parents (or childcare’ers), ‘cause IF we’re not…
But I suppose that’s how life is in general and with us of legal-drinking-age-people. Kinda like if you don’t eat you will get skinny…yeah, riiiiight, what was I saying…man, this whole “don’t” & “do” thing can be awfully confusing.
