Easter Egg Hunt
Sunday, April 30th, 2006Photographed Red-Handed
Friday, April 28th, 2006The phrase “A picture is worth a thousand words.” comes to mind when I see this picture of Mike at the the baseball game last week with all these cups of…well, you can see the picture for yourself.
On a less or more juicy note, Mike & Nina are very much in love which I think is such a good example to us new couples of how you can still be happily married after MANY years of marriage. I forget the exact number, but I know it’s a 2 digit one so that should say something.
Basketball Heaven
Friday, April 28th, 2006Devin just loves basketball & balls in general so I would always feel so sorry for him when he would keep trying to get the ball in our adult basketball hoop with absolutely no success…unless of course we lifted all 27 & 1/2 lbs. of him in the air! So the only logical solution was to buy him his own little basketball hoop, especially after he played with Emmer’s & wept bitterly when we had to leave. As you can see from the pictures Devin was in basketball Heaven once he got his own hoop!
And for all those who know Devin you’ll be amazed to know that not only has he been nurse-free since the 4th of this month (April), but he also started sleeping in his own bed this month too! He doesn’t even try to get out of his bed at night, he only fights it when he’s first being put to bed, and then he’s pretty much fine till morning…give or take a few wails, howls, screeches, screams & kicks throughout the night. But I can’t complain ’cause he doesn’t get out of his bed, other than when he falls out, but that doesn’t count, right?? And for the record I do put lots of pillows next to his bed every night to soften the impact.
Bye-Bye Kubrick
Friday, April 28th, 2006Spring has sprung and I’m tired of looking like all the other wordpress sites with the default look.
I thought that I could do this in a variable width design but am tired of trying. (I had a working model but didn’t like the order my content was showing up in the html.
It’s still very much a work in progress, but it’s time to move on to new and better things.
Are the colors a nice representation of spring and welcome change from all the blue / white pages out there? Or is it just plain hideous.
Comments are welcome dear readers.
