Bye-Bye Kubrick
Spring has sprung and I’m tired of looking like all the other wordpress sites with the default look.
I thought that I could do this in a variable width design but am tired of trying. (I had a working model but didn’t like the order my content was showing up in the html.
It’s still very much a work in progress, but it’s time to move on to new and better things.
Are the colors a nice representation of spring and welcome change from all the blue / white pages out there? Or is it just plain hideous.

I don’t know what everyone else will think. Personally I hate it. It’s not the color scheme itself so much as the blatant reminder that you have the luck ‘o the Irish…shades of last night’s poker game still fresh in my mind.

Seriously though, the green is neither here nor there, though certainly different, which I’m sure is what you were aiming for.
What I really like are the random photos down the side.

Well I’m loving it, personally. The photos down the side are really nice, all in all it looks really classy and clean. Bravo.

The green is a little to bright, But I think that it could grow on me. At least till the end of spring.

Love the new look, only a bit to bright on the eyes. It’s hard to not go blind while looking at it. I agree with the guys though, I like the pictures down the saide. Great idea!

Yeah it’s a little bright. Word on the street is that neutral colors are in right now as far as design goes, but who wants to follow the trend. The layout is good, I’m just not sure about the color scheme.

On second thought. If you changed the body background to a really light shade of green, or white even, It wouldn’t be quite so glaring.
