Steven and Linda Or rather Devin and Wesley

Day 1: Drove down to a lovely rustic beach house in Rosarito with Mike & Anaik & their 2 kids. Devin & Justin were both perfect angels on the drive down. We arrived at around 2:30 and had plenty of time to take the boys to the beach to play in the sand. Sand is very sandy. Water & sand are muddy. Mud sticks to your body. The boys had fun though & loved every bit of the sand & water. I took off my flip flops & embraced the sand in the true spirit of exfoliation! And the boys were pleasantly surprised to find Buster the dog here & have happily been playing with him. Buster also went underneath the fence to join us on the beach…don’t worry Cassie he’s back home now. Anaik & I walked to Tacos Manuel to get dinner, life is good.

Sometimes I feel old, but reading over all the different jobs that my Dad has held in his 60 or 61 (or maybe even 62??) years of life reminds me that I have a whole lot to learn and a whole heck of a lot more work ahead of me! — Hurrah or maybe not, gulp…well God willing I’ll still be fighting the good fight in 40 years if the Lord hasn’t come back by then (please oh please come back Lord!!). Because if my Dad’s still serving the Lord at 60-whatever-years-old-he-is, then I have to be too!

Ok, on to the more interesting part of this post, at least I think so, are all the jobs that my Dad has done in his lifetime & actually gotten paid for. My Mom sent me this list and was meaning to get more info about the jobs but for lack of time this will have to do. And knowing my Dad I would not be surprised if he forgot about a dozen or so other jobs, but maybe it’s ’cause he didn’t get paid for them. So here’s the list:
