Vacation snuck up on us and we didn’t have firm plans so on the spur of the moment we decided to go camping, gotta take advantage of being a small family while we can. Found a nice little campground in Julian.
Left within hours of finding / making the reservation and arrived with just enough light to setup camp.
Got back from summer camp on Friday dead tired & happy to be home. I think I slept for 15 hours! I had so much fun camping with everyone, and thanks to Maggie I got to sleep in comfort. Steven & John were nice enough to watch Devin & Carina the whole time & brought them by camp a couple of times so Abi & I wouldn’t miss our babies too much. After each really long day us adults would manage to stay up for a bit longer & chat around the fire, which was a most pleasant way to unwind. Poor Darren & Joe were the only guys there so they definitely got teased a whole lot but were great sports about it…lets see if they come back next year. 
I’ll try to post pictures soon…Lord knows there’s enough of them!
P.S. Thanks Crystal for feeding us so well, I was fat & happy the whole time. And thanks Nina & Abi & the rest of the cool staff who made summer camp possible & magical, I’ll be back next year.
I know I’m the worst blogger ever, but in my defense I consider this an “online photo journal” for family & friends, and I think we put up enough pictures here that we’re not completely hopeless. — So there!
