For some reason I’ve always loved this painting “The Kiss”, by Gustav Klimt. He has some other beautiful paintings as well. I was just thinking how Steve leaves me for a couple hours to go play poker and I’m sipping wine and gazing/pondering paintings…next I’ll be posting poetry.

We’re happy to announce that our 2nd boy was born today at 4:15am. Weighing in at 7Lbs 11oz and just under 21 Inches. Delivery was a quick one at around 2 and a half hours and we are thankful to be back home already. Thanks for all your prayers.

We celebrated Devin’s 2nd Birthday on the 5th of this month instead of the 25th, which is his actual Birthday. It was a fun-packed day held outside with a clown (thanks to Eli) who put on a show and made balloons, Renee did face painting, Sammy brought out a pet snake, Abi set up a play area for the kids to dress up, play with cars, or color. Then came the dump truck filled with chocolate cake chunks which looked like dirt topped with gummy worms, and served with a shovel…I got the idea off the internet and it couldn’t of been any easier to make. Devin got to share his Birthday with his little friend Carina who just turned 2 this month, so they had plenty of little guests show up for their big day. Thanks to all who came and for the cute gifts! Here’s some photos from the party:
