I love Devin’s imagination. At some point in the course of his day, every day, he seems to explore a world of dinosaurs, dragons, snakes, cars, spiders, and pirates. 3 1/2 years old is definitely a fun and entertaining age!
Wesley, at 16 months old, is such a character. Some days I think he’s sort of becoming the living embodiment of the word “rascal”, then he smiles and I’m convinced. It’s a good thing we love him so much.
My baby is growing up! The weather’s been so hot recently that we’ve been feeling bad for Devin with his long thick hair and so decided to try out a shorter style on him, at least for the summer. Here are the before and after shots!

I brought this Bible a couple months ago and really like it because it has stories that other children’s Bible’s don’t have, like Paul being shipwrecked, bitten by a snake, 12 men scouting the land of the giants, etc. It also has some questions or meaningful statements at the end of each story that help to encourage understanding of the different lessons. I got it for under $15 and would recommend it for kids 5 on down.
If you were stranded on an island and could only eat 3 types of food for 6 months what would those be?
I would choose:
peanut butter
cheese
bread
And since I’d be on an island I’d eat fish, seaweed, coconuts, and sea salt to be healthy. I’m almost tempted to change 3 food types to 4 so I can add avocado’s to my list but I know I need to draw the line somewhere.
